1. This day is a national holiday in Belarus. People decorate the streets with flags and balloons. On this holiday there is a great parade in Minsk. And people watch fireworks at night.

4. Belarusian people celebrate this holiday on May 9th. We always decorate streets with flags and lights. Before the holiday we usually invite veterans to school. We listen to their stories about the war. It’s very exciting and touching. We give them flowers, cards and presents. On May 9th we can watch a parade in Minsk or on TV. In the evenings there are fireworks in all cities and towns of Belarus.
